NYRR Beyond the Finish Line
Every year the TCS New York City Marathon welcomes 50,000+ runners from across the globe and their friends and families to New York City. While runners traverse the 26.2-mile course across the city’s five boroughs, millions more line the city streets to cheer on loved ones and strangers alike.
This year for the first time, NYRR will partner with New York City's top cultural institutions to create a unique mix of experiences for TCS New York City Marathon runners and their friends and families that transcend the marathon course and finish line. The program will establish relationships with other nonprofit institutions in New York City to help bridge the gap between these institutions and local communities throughout the five boroughs by building awareness of their programming, highlighting accessibility, and launching exclusive offers to runners and NYRR members.
These offerings may include:
- Free or discounted admissions to cultural institutions
- Exclusive "behind the scenes" access or private tours of top attractions
- Meet and greet opportunities with professional athletes, notable runners, and industry leaders
- Exclusive access and admission discounts for NYRR members

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) SOLD OUT The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)will host a special celebration for TCS New York City Marathon finishers and their supporters with before-hours access and gallery talks in two exhibitions – Life Dances on: Robert Frank and Vital Signs: Artists and the Body.
