NYRR Member-Only Second-Chance Drawing

Current members of New York Road Runners who apply to a non-guaranteed general entry drawing for an in-person race (which includes the TCS New York City Marathon, United Airlines NYC Half, and the RBC Brooklyn Half) will automatically be entered into the NYRR Member-Only Second-Chance Drawing.

Eligibility

The NYRR Member-Only Second-Chance Drawing is a benefit for current NYRR members. To be eligible, your membership must be active the day before the drawing application opens, and remain active through the drawing day for the event. All NYRR members who meet these requirements will automatically be included in the Member-Only Second-Chance Drawing when they apply to the non-guaranteed entry drawing.

Selection

Following the general entry drawing, all eligible NYRR members who were not selected for entry will be placed in the Member-Only Second-Chance Drawing, which will occur the same day.

Members who are selected in the Second-Chance Drawing will immediately be charged the full registration fee for the race upon selection and will be informed via email of their selection before the end of the day after both drawings have concluded.
