NYRR offers several ways to earn guaranteed entry into some of our biggest races. The 9+1 program, the 4 Out of 6 program, and the Virtual 6 program are each designed to enable runners to earn their spots the following year in the TCS New York City Marathon, the United Airlines NYC Half, and the RBC Brooklyn Half.
2026 United NYC Half 4 out 6 program: Eligibility for entry to the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half will be guaranteed for NYRR members who complete four qualifying events in 2025 and have an active membership by the last qualifying event of the 2025 4 Out of 6 program (the NYRR Staten Island Half on October 12, 2025).
The following races are qualifying events in 2025:
Runners that register for and complete six NYRR virtual races through the Virtual 6 program between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025 will be eligible to receive one non-complimentary entry to the 2026 RBC Brooklyn Half. Read more about the Virtual 6 program.
Runners can earn guaranteed entry to the TCS New York City Marathon through the 9+1 program, in addition to other methods.
