Processing Fees
In keeping with standard industry practice and in support of our work as a nonprofit organization, including our free youth and community programs like Rising New York Road Runners, Open Run, and Striders, beginning January 5, 2026 a 5.75% processing fee will be applied to all paid events, memberships, and products and services purchased through the NYRR website.
You can choose to pay the processing fees on donations to NYRR (including NYRR Team for Kids and NYRR Team for Climate) to allow all of your donations to support NYRR's work as a nonprofit organization.
Processing fees do not apply to free events or programs and donations made in the checkout flow.

How much is the processing fee?
The processing fee is 5.75% of the cost of eligible items, with a minimum fee of $1.00. If 5.75% of the total is less than $1.00, the fee will be rounded up to $1.00.

I have a partner registration link from NYRR; will the processing fee apply?
If a runner uses a partner registration link to “apply” for an event prior to January 5, 2026, a processing fee will not be charged, even if NYRR or the partner manager doesn’t approve the registration by January 5, 2026. A processing fee will be applied to all runner registrations on or after January 5, 2026.
