Beginning with the 2027 program, entry into the member-only 9+1 program will be determined through a free-to-enter drawing for NYRR members. Members who are selected will become 9+1 Passholders and have a supported pathway to complete the 9+1 program requirements for guaranteed, non-complimentary entry to the 2028 TCS New York City Marathon.

You must be an active NYRR member by September 16, 2026 and on October 1, 2026, to be eligible to enter the 9+1 Pass drawing.
NYRR members can enter the free-to-enter 9+1 Pass drawing starting at 12:00 p.m. on September 17 through September 29 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Members accepted in the drawing will be notified and charged the 9+1 Pass fee of $99.00 (includes processing fee).
