Victoria Fortune
Victoria Fortune has been a distance runner all her adult life. A longtime New York resident, she is a co-founder of DeFine New York Run Club, created by social justice advocate Coffey.
Victoria’s involvement in running deepened in 2019 as part of her healing journey following her father’s 2018 passing. For Victoria, the practice of running is as much mental and spiritual as it is physical. She shares her running and healing journey more on Instagram @vicmofo and @sunshineandrainpodcast.
A graduate of Howard University, Victoria works in social impact/philanthropy and is the host of her podcast centered around grief, Sunshine & Rain.
She is a four-time marathoner (TCS New York City Marathon 2019, 2021, 2024; Chicago Marathon 2022) and has also run the United Airlines NYC Half and the RBC Brooklyn Half. Victoria joined NYRR’s Contributors Circle in July 2023 and is developing content focused on wellness of body, mind, spirit.
