Volunteer Opportunities

*Receive an official New Balance volunteer jacket. Transportation provided from Brooklyn and Manhattan. Free parking at South Beach and volunteer shuttle to volunteer check in. Great for outgoing personalities. You will be assisting the runner bus unloading operation and directing runners to the entrance of Fort Wadsworth. You will be answering runner questions. This is a +1 opportunity for the 2025 9+1 program to earn guaranteed, non-complimentary entry into the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

*Receive an official New Balance volunteer jacket. Transportation provided from Brooklyn and Manhattan. Parking at South Beach and volunteer shuttle to volunteer check in. You will be volunteering in and around hospitality tents for our specialty groups. This role requires line management and crowd control, setting up and breaking down the hospitality tents, tables, chairs and picking up all of the trash in the tents. This is a +1 opportunity for the 2025 9+1 program to earn guaranteed, non-complimentary entry into the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

Receive an official New Balance volunteer jacket. As a runner services ambassador, you will assist runners and ride with them on the Staten Island Ferry to answer any questions they may have on the way to the Start Village. This is NOT a +1 eligible volunteer opportunity.

Village volunteers are required to stay for the entire shift and assist in the break down and clean up of the village before being dismissed by their volunteer leader. This is a +1 opportunity for the 2025 9+1 program to earn guaranteed, non-complimentary entry into the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.
