Woody Kincaid USA

Two-time U.S. Olympian Woody Kincaid is making his half marathon debut at the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half. He is moving up in distance after winning two national titles in the 10,000 meters.

In 2023 he broke the American indoor record for 5,000 meters, running 12:51.61, which landed him fourth on the world all-time indoor list. The record was later broken in 2025, with Kincaid’s mark now the fifth-fastest in history. The summer of 2022 he broke his elbow during the World Athletics Championships 5,000 meters but got his redemption when he won gold at the 2022 NACAC Championships 5,000 meters

Kincaid represented Team USA at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paris 2024 Olympics in the 5,000 meters (2020) and 10,000 meters (2020, 2024), with his highest finish (14th) coming in the 5,000 meters in Tokyo.

He also qualified for the 2022 and 2023 World Athletics Championships in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters respectively.
