Mosinet Geremew
Mosinet Geremew has finished in silver-medal position at the last two World Athletics Championships marathons and has accumulated five top-five finishes at Abbott World Marathon Majors races. He was runner-up at both the 2019 London and 2018 Chicago marathons, third place at the 2021 London and 2017 Berlin marathons, and fourth place at the 2020 London Marathon.
He originally broke through on the marathon scene when he won the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon in 2015 and the Yangzhou Jianzhen International Half Marathon four times consecutively from 2015 to 2018. He recorded his first large-scale marathon title in Dubai in 2018 in a course-record time of 2:04:00 and notched another title at the Seoul Marathon in 2:04:43. Geremew began his career running cross country.
