Annie Frisbie
In April Annie Frisbie had a breakthrough performance, finishing eighth at the 2025 Boston Marathon in a new personal best time of 2:23:21. In 2021, she made her marathon debut, placing seventh at the TCS New York City Marathon in 2:26:18, the fourth-fastest debut by an American woman on the fiver borough-course.
Since racing in Boston, Frisbie has won the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, placed second at the USATF 6K Championships, and most recently, finished third at the Medtronic TC 10 Mile in Minneapolis. On November 2, she will run her third TCS New York City Marathon.
Frisbie is a Wisconsin native who attended Iowa State University, where she was an All-American in cross country. She turned pro after graduation, joining Minnesota Distance Elite in 2019 and now trains in Minneapolis.
