Annie Frisbie
Annie Frisbie was the second-fastest American at the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon, crossing the line in 2:24:12, just behind Fiona O’Keeffe. The same year, she had a breakthrough performance, finishing eighth at the 2025 Boston Marathon in a new personal best time of 2:23:21. This spring, Frisbie will hit the streets of New York City again at the United Airlines NYC Half, after she ran it in 2023 and 2022, placing 11th and eighth, respectively.
In 2021, she made her marathon debut, placing seventh at the TCS New York City Marathon in 2:26:18, the fourth-fastest debut by an American woman on the course.
Frisbie is a Wisconsin native who attended Iowa State University, where she was an All-American in cross country. She started running professionally after graduation, joining Minnesota Distance Elite in 2019 and training in Minneapolis, alongside Olympian Dakotah Popehn.
